Guidelines for authors
General terms
The paper can be submitted to the editorial board via the journal's website or by e-mail to: magazine@krirpo.ru. In the cover letter, a telephone number should be provided for quick contact with the author. After receiving the paper, a confirmation will be sent by the editorial board. Papers that have not been published before and are relevant to the journal's remit can be published in the journal. The language of the paper should be comprehensible both to specialists and to a wide range of readers interested in the topic discussed. The authors are responsible for the reliability of the information presented in the published materials. Postgraduate and external students' papers are accepted for consideration by the editorial board only with a review from their research advisor. Text length should not be more than one author's page (40 000 characters). The work of the Editorial Board on the authors' papers implies checking the text for plagiarism and reviewing. Articles containing less than 70% of unique text are not eligible for publication. If after checking the paper, plagiarism is discovered, the author will be notified of the publication rejection for the reason mentioned above. Submitted papers are double-blind peer-reviewed; the review process takes an average of two months. The editorial board makes the final decision on the publication. The review includes the main strengths and weaknesses of the article, as well as comments and recommendations to the authors. The reference list should be given at the end of the article and be written in accordance with GOST R 7.0.5-2008. References in the text should correspond to the numbered reference list. Figures and diagrams are placed in the paper's text and should also be duplicated and attached as a separate file. If abbreviations are used in the text, it is required to provide a full expansion of an abbreviated word or term. The Editorial Board has the right to make scientific and literary edits of submitted papers, and if necessary, to shorten them by agreement with the author. The Editorial Board has the right to reject submitted papers that do not meet the requirements or remit of the journal with notification to the author. In case of rejection of the submitted article, the Editorial Board gives the author a reasoned opinion. Once a positive decision on publication has been made, the author may pay the cost and delivery of the journal. The scanned payment receipt should be sent to e-mail: magazine@krirpo.ru with the address the journal will be sent to.
Academic paper structure
- UDC;
- Last name, first name, patronymic of the author(s) in full, academic degree, academic rank, position, place of work (full name according to the charter), city, e-mail address.
- Title of the article (maximum length of the title is 10-12 words).
- The abstract (200-250 words) should follow the structure of the paper and should include the following sections:
- Introduction allows readers to understand the significance and relevance of the research without additional reference to other sources. First, the paper's general topic, relevance, relation to current challenges, novelty, and practical relevance should be stated. The introduction should state the main idea of the publication.
- Methodology (materials and methods). Historical background, concepts, approaches. Scientific research methods.
- Results is the main section of the publication. Its purpose is to prove the working hypothesis or justify the stated problem. Description of the results may include research progress, data analysis. It should be coherent, concise, but at the same time complete and sufficient to justify conclusions (conclusion) of research findings.
- Conclusion. In conclusion, the main ideas of the main part of the paper are repeated in a concise form, but the text is not duplicated. It is necessary to correlate the results obtained with the aim and hypothesis stated at the beginning of the paper. On the basis of the presented paper, recommendations for its use should be given, and prospects and directions of further researches for the solution of the stated problem can be presented.
- Keywords (5-10 words).
- Information about authors, paper title, abstract, keywords are duplicated in English.
- References in Russian (20-30 sources).
- References are duplicated in English. Data on each source are provided according to its original translation of the article, the title of the journal. The title of the source should be written according to transliteration rules. Electronic links should open.
Requirements for the author's final manuscript
- Text editor – MS-Word.
- Font – Times New Roman.
- Font size (type size) – 14.
- Line spacing – 1.5.
- First-line indentation – 1,25.
- Margins – all 2 cm.
- Text alignment – justified.
- No hyphenation.
- Allowed emphasis – italics, bold.
- References to sources are given in square brackets, with an indication of the source number in the list of references and the page of the citation source (GOST R 7.0.5-2008).
- A hyphen must differ from a dash.
- Dashes and quotation marks must have the same typeface throughout the text.
- Spacing between paragraphs is not allowed.
- Figures only in black and white, without halftones, in vector formats WMF, EMF, CDR; raster images are in TIFF, JPG formats with the resolution not less than 300 dpi, real size.
- Diagrams in black and white only (*.xlsx format) along with the source file.
- Tables with a sequence number and title should be submitted in Microsoft Word, Excel (*.docx, *. xlsx format) editor as a separate file. In the text, it should be noted where the table should be placed.
- When inserting formulas, use the built-in Microsoft Office formula editor, the position of formulas on the page – centered.
